Yawaraka Spirits, an online magazine of Shogakukan, revealed on Wednesday that Shohei Manabe’s manga Ushijima the Loan Shark is stirring a follow-up manga. The manga, Nikumamushi Densetsu will initiate on Yawaraka Spirits. Manabe will be the inventive creator of the sequence, and Yu Hayato will drawing the sequence.

Nikumamushi is Manabe’s original character. Since 2004, the manga Ushijima the Loan Shark has been printed in Weekly Big Comic Spirits and the final arc of this manga was published in October. In 2011, the manga received Shogakukan Manga Award. The manga was also nominated for honours like France Angouleme Comics Award (2008), Osamu Tezuka Culture Prize 2010 and 2008.

This manga represents the human drama in the black market world by the eyes of the loan shark. According to the story, Ushijima lends money to Kaukau, he charges illegal interest on his money i.e. 50% interest for every 10 days.

Television series of this manga published from Oct-Dec 2010. The first film on this manga came out on 2012. After the film released, the second season also published in 2014 Jan, in the same year the second film was also published. The third season released on 17 July and the third movie was released in Japan, in the same year on 22 September. The fourth movie was released on 22 Oct; it was a live action film, named Yamikin Ushijima-Kun the Final.
