Vinland Saga ends after two decades – new series begins

After almost twenty years, Makoto Yukimura's Vinland Saga concludes with the release of the September issue of the magazine Afternoon. The historically grounded story about the Viking Thorfinn, which has been awarded several prestigious prizes, spans 28 volumes; Volume 29 will be released in September. In the same issue, the new series Shingetsu no Ban ni begins, revolving around a former Shogi professional.
