"Volicia of Pluto -Vapor Trail Another Age 2006-" full length anime released online, crowdfunding for sequel underway

The independent anime production "Volicia of Pluto -Vapor Trail Another Age 2006-" is now available for streaming in its entirety, offering viewers the option to enjoy the series with either English or Japanese subtitles until the end of August.

The anime features a robust cast of characters voiced by Mahiro Kusaka, Miho Mashiro, Rinka Haruse, Natsuki Ochiai, Miku Ichinose, and others. The story revolves around Akio Hoshigami, a person recovering from a leg injury that ended their career, and their journey of self-discovery in high school after their girlfriend Ayano Umisoe abruptly leaves them.

The project represents an extensive undertaking by the young creator AsH, who is involved in multiple roles, including director, editor, scriptwriter, animator, and cinematographer. With contributions from nagiha in music composition, Kona aka Fukutarau in sound effects, and Zerogosha in production coordination, this project stands as a true testament to teamwork and versatile skills.

To continue the story, a crowdfunding initiative for a sequel is currently running on the Campfire platform. So far, the project has raised 440,500 yen and has set a goal of 1 million yen to be reached by the end of August. If successfully funded, the sequel is planned for release in winter 2024.
