A new production for the anime series "Watashi no Shiawase na Kekkon" has been officially confirmed. It is a three-part special episode that will be released in 2026 and will be simultaneously streamed worldwide on Netflix.

Coinciding with this announcement, a new key visual was released. It shows the protagonist Miyo in a white bridal kimono under a blooming cherry tree, while her partner Kiyoka protectively holds an umbrella over her.

Statements from the involved parties are available, including from Reina Ueda, the voice of Miyo, Kaito Ishikawa, the voice of Kiyoka, the original author Akumi Agitogi, and director Yūdai Kubota.

Furthermore, a social media campaign was initiated, which started on November 22nd to coincide with "Good Couple Day". Three posters of the new key visual, signed by Reina Ueda and Kaito Ishikawa, will be raffled among participants. The campaign runs until December 5th.

The anime series concluded its second season in April of this year. The now announced special episode continues the story.
