"Welcome to Japan, Elf-san!" Anime adaptation announced

The anime adaptation of "Welcome to Japan, Elf-san!" has been officially announced, with key details such as the cast, crew, and the release of a teaser visual and promotional video revealed.

The series is based on the novel by Makishima Suzuki. It follows the adventures of Kazuhiro Kitase, an office worker with the unique ability to travel to a dream world where he goes by the name Kazuhiho, and Marie, an elf girl who finds herself in modern-day Japan. Together, they navigate both worlds, discovering the beauty of Japan and battling monsters in dungeons. The series, which was serialized in Comic Fire, spans nine volumes in both the original and the manga adaptation illustrated by Aonoshimo.

In the anime, Yuusuke Kobayashi will voice Kazuhiro Kitase/Kazuhiho, while Kaede Hondo will play Marie. The creative team includes Tetsu Kitaibarashi as director, Aya Yoshinaga as series composer and scriptwriter, and Madoka Hirayama as character designer and chief animation director, with Zero-G handling the animation production.
