The world's first "Dragon Ball" theme park is to be built

In a groundbreaking announcement, the construction of a theme park based on Akira Toriyama's "Dragon Ball" series was revealed. The ambitious project is being realized by Saudi Arabia's Qiddiya Investment Company as part of their Qiddiya project. Fans of the popular anime series will be able to immerse themselves in the Dragon Ball universe across an area of more than 500,000 square meters, featuring meticulously recreated landmarks such as Kame House, Capsule Corporation, and Planet Beerus.

The park will be divided into seven distinct zones, each offering a unique adventure and the chance to step into the roles of the series' beloved characters. More than thirty attractions are planned, including five thrilling rides. A highlight will be a massive, 70-meter-tall Shenron dragon structure at the heart of the park, through which a high-speed roller coaster will run. Additionally, the park will house hotels and restaurants, providing a comprehensive Dragon Ball world experience.

The announcement coincided with the ceremonial signing of a strategic partnership between Toei Animation and QIC, marking a significant milestone in the realization of the Dragon Ball theme park. Both parties expressed their enthusiasm for the project and emphasized their excitement about making the Dragon Ball universe accessible to fans and families alike.
