The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Eku Takeshima's manga "Whisper Me a Love Song" announced new cast members and a January 2024 premiere date on Friday. The new cast members include Mikako Komatsu as Aki Mizuguchi, Konomi Kohara as Mari Tsutsui, Ai Kakuma as Kaori Tachibana, and Yuna Nemoto as Shiho Izumi. The anime will feature Hana Shimano as Himari Kino and Asami Seto as Yori Asanagi.

Xin Ya Cai, known for her work on Arte and The Genius Prince's Guide to Raising a Nation Out of Debt, will direct at Cloud Hearts, while the animation production is overseen by Yokohama Animation Lab. Hiroki Uchida is in charge of the series scripts, and Minami Yoshida is designing the characters.

The story follows Himari, a first-year high school student who falls in love with her senpai Yori after hearing her band perform. As Himari and Yori explore their feelings for each other, they discover the true meaning of love. The manga first launched in 2019 in Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime magazine.
