The popular web novel, which was published as the manga "Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion," will be released as an anime adaptation on April 10 of this year. The anime is animated by Typhoon Graphics and directed by Junichi Yamamoto. A preview screening will take place on March 18 at the United Cinemas Aqua City Odaiba in Japan.

The anime's cast includes talented voice actors such as Yuichiro Umehara as Noah Volstair Winknight, Yume Miyamoto as Raeliana McMillan, Shuichiro Umeda as Adam Taylor, Akira Ishida as Heika Demint, Tomokazu Sugita as Justin Shamal, Shunichi Toki as Keith Westernberg, Junichi Suwabe as Siatrich Newreal Chamos, and Yumika Yano as Vivian Shamal.

Fans of the original web novel and manga will be delighted to hear that Mitsutaka Hirota is responsible for the series composition, Haruna Hashimoto for character design, and Kio Edamatsu for prop design. Yasunori Ebina is handling sound direction, Kenji Kato is the art director, and Yuzuru Funakoshi is in charge of cinematography. The 3DCG work for the series is being done by Tetsuya Watanabe.

"Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion" (originally titled "Warum Raeliana in der Villa des Herzogs landete") was originally a web novel by Milcha, serialized from 2016 to 2018. The story was later adapted into a webtoon by Whale, published on KakaoPage from September 2017 to March 2020. The first volume of this fantasy romance follows the determined Raeliana, a character who refuses to accept her fate and is willing to fight to change her future.
