Revival of the series "Monogatari": Anime adaptation of "Off Season & Monster Season" announced

The popular series "Monogatari" will make a comeback with a new anime adaptation titled "Off Season & Monster Season."

"Off Season & Monster Season" is based on the novels by Nisio Isin, published by Kodansha until 2021. The story follows the journeys of the heroines and the student life of the protagonist Koyomi Araragi. The adaptation is expected to delve deeper into the characters' lives and offer a fresh perspective on their stories.

The anime is being directed by Akiyuki Shinbo as the chief director and Midori Yoshizawa as the director. Fuyashi Tou and Akiyuki Shinbo are responsible for the series composition. Akio Watanabe is in charge of character design and overall animation direction. The renowned studio Shaft has been confirmed as the animation studio for this project.

Additionally, two teasers, "O" and "M," previously released by Aniplex on January 15th and 16th, were revealed, relating to the "Off Season & Monster Season" of the "Monogatari" series.
