Nirei and Suo visit him at home, but encounter an unexpected challenge: Sakura's neglected apartment resembles a "haunted house," and he initially rejects their help. Despite their care (bringing medicine and food), Sakura insists he has always managed alone. Suo advises patience, as Sakura never cultivated friendships and is unaccustomed to support.

Meanwhile, Sakura reflects on Umemiya's words (from Episode 16), that his hesitation in battle stemmed from concern for the others. The sudden arrival of Kotoha (Umemiya's sister) changes the situation: She confronts him directly, cooks for him, and makes it clear that no one can handle everything alone. Her pragmatic approach breaks through Sakura's defensive stance.

The next day, Sakura seeks out Kaji to learn from him how to share responsibilities as a leader. Kaji explains, uncharacteristically empathetically, that admitting weakness and accepting help is strength – only by trusting others can one become invincible. Umemiya and Hiragi, who are secretly listening, emphasize this message with humorous comments. Sakura begins to understand that Furin's strength lies in unity, not solo battles.
