The winners of the 70th Shogakukan Manga Awards were announced today, January 17. Four outstanding works were honored this year.

Awarded Works

1. "Kore Kaita Shini" by Minoru Toyoda (published in Gessan, Shogakukan)

2. "Shakunetsu Kabaddi" by Hajime Musashino, completed in July 2024

3. "Natsume Arata no Kekkon" by Taro Nogizaka, a completed series that was also adapted into a live-action film
