WIT STUDIO Produces Music Video for Orangestar's "Petals" – Opening of the Anime Series "Shunkashuutou Daikousha"

The renowned animation studio WIT STUDIO, known for works such as "Attack on Titan" and "SPY x FAMILY," has released the music video for "Petals," the new song by music producer and Vocaloid producer Orangestar.

The track serves as the opening theme for the currently airing TV anime series "Shunkashuutou Daikousha: Haru no Mai" (English title: "Agents of the Four Seasons: Dance of Spring"), whose animation production is also handled by WIT STUDIO.

The music video was directed by Yutaro Kubo and Satomi Maiya, who are responsible for visual development and the image board for the series itself. The video captures the fleeting moment when spring arrives with the cherry blossoms.

Accompanying the video, the two directors commented: "Sometimes I wonder: 'Will I forget this moment one day?' Memories we want to hold onto fade away, while others, like small thorns, remain forever. Our hearts are full of such uncertainties and ambiguities. But surely there are also moments when exactly this ambiguity saves us. We hope that this work allows someone waiting for the thaw in their heart to take a quiet step forward – spurred on by the beauty of the returning season, while carrying within them everything that time has healed, and what they cannot forget to this day."

"Shunkashuutou Daikousha: Haru no Mai" is based on a light novel by Kana Akatsuki, the author of "Violet Evergarden," with illustrations by Suou. The series has been airing since March 29, 2026, and is available in simulcast on platforms such as Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, and Crunchyroll.
