Namco Bandai Games is adapting the 1987 arcade game Wonder Momo into an anime.
The first trailer with English subtitles has now been released. The series will consist of five five-minute short episodes. Starting in February, a new episode will air every Thursday at 9:30 PM on Niconico in Japan.
Yutaka Kagawa (Hajime Ningen Gon, Jagainu-kun, Nightwalker) is directing under the supervision of Graphinica (Hellsing Ultimate, Rakuen Tsuiho – Expelled From Paradise). Yuichi Yoshida is serving as character designer and animation director, while Ayumi Inabe is writing the script and lyrics. The series is produced by Robert Pereyda (Shifty Lock) alongside manager Shigetaka Kurita.
