World Trigger: REBOOT project for the anime series announced

A new project titled "REBOOT" has been launched for the anime adaptation of the series "World Trigger." A first key visual and a short teaser have been released for it.

The series is based on the manga by Daisuke Ashihara and follows an organization that fights against invaders from another dimension, so-called "Neighbors." The anime adaptation has been produced in three seasons so far, between 2014 and 2022.

The released teaser visual shows the protagonist Yūma Kuga in his "Black Trigger" armor, leaping forward in an urban setting at dusk. The also shown, approximately 15-second long preview clip begins with an alarm announcement about an appearing "Gate." This is followed by the series logo and the word "REBOOT." An on-screen text line reads: "The gate from another dimension, once again." The message "REBOOT Project Start" finally announces the new initiative for the anime series.
