Yakunara Mug Cup mo: Niban Gama released with promo video

The cast of "Yakunara Mug Cup mo: Niban Gama" ("Let's Make a Mug Too") continues to grow: The latest trailer introduces new characters.

The nearly one-and-a-half-minute video takes us back to the warm summer days of the girls in the pottery club. Classmates from rival schools join the workshop. The new members are voiced by the voice actresses Aya Uchida as Rio Matsuse, Sally Amaki as Himena Valdez, and Ari Ozawa as Hina Tokikawa.



The second season of "Yakunara Mug Cup mo: Niban Gama" will air starting October 2021, and the team from Nippon Animation will be featured in every episode. Like the first season, the episodes will be shorter than usual at 12 minutes and will take us to the city of Tajimi, known for its Mino pottery and as the hometown of Himeno Toyokawa's mother.

Together with her father, who quit his job as a salaryman, Toyokawa Himeno moves to the city of Tajimi in Gifu Prefecture. This is the town where her mother, whom she lost when she was little, came from. Himeno now attends her mother's alma mater, where her classmate Kukuri Mika invites her to accompany her to a special place. That place is the pottery club! There, she learns for the first time that her mother was a legendary potter and is subsequently drawn into the world of pottery.
