"Yamato yo Eien ni REBEL3199: The Second Chapter - The Rising of the Red Sun" announced

The latest installment in the remake series "Space Battleship Yamato" is titled "Yamato yo Eien ni REBEL3199: The Second Chapter - The Departure of the Red Sun" and will premiere on November 22. At the same time, a teaser visual and a special promo video have been released.

The teaser visual for "Yamato yo Eien ni REBEL3199: The Second Chapter - The Departure of the Red Sun" features an illustration by Kia Asamiya, who is responsible for the artwork. The image bears the slogan: "Look closely. This is the spaceship Yamato."

Today, July 19, the first chapter titled "The First Chapter - Black Invasion" was released.

"Yamato yo Eien ni REBEL3199" is a reimagining of the 1980 film "Be Forever Yamato," restructured as a seven-part series with a total of 26 episodes. The story takes place two years after the destruction of the home planets of Gamilon and Iscandar and follows the spaceship Yamato on its journey to confront the mysterious giant object Grand Reverse, which poses a threat to humanity.
