The fantasy adventure "Yomi no Tsugai" enters its second round: For the second cour (starting July 4), a new key visual, a main trailer, and the performers of the theme songs have been released. The current image shows the two guardian gods Left and Right (Sayo-sama) in battle against the mysterious Ivan, while in the background the protagonist Yuru aims at the enemy with a drawn bow and a sharp gaze.

The main trailer offers a preview of the upcoming events: Ivan attacks the village of Higashi and confronts the village elder Yamaha; Kyoka entrusts Yuru's childhood friend Danji with an important mission; additionally, a strange new character reminiscent of an alien is shown, along with Danji hunting through the underworld together with Oshirasama.

The opening theme is contributed by Masanori Otoda with the song "back shot," which he wrote specifically for the series and deals with mistrust and hypocrisy in human interaction. Otoda comments: "Yuru's pure heart and the attempts of outsiders to exploit it – I hope viewers immerse themselves in various emotions together with this wonderful anime series." The ending theme is by Kei Sugawara with the title "Kujaku" (Peacock). Sugawara explains: "I put all my contradictory but sincere obsession into this song – the wish that you may simply continue to live."
