Yoroi Shinden Samurai Troopers: New Anime Continuation with Familiar Character

A well-known character from the classic series "Yoroiden Samurai Troopers" returns in the official continuation. The new television production titled "Yoroi Shinden Samurai Troopers" is set in present-day Shinjuku and tells a completely new story.

Nasty Yagyu, a character from the original 1988/89 series, takes on a central role. The character acts as the commander of a special unit and is a living witness to the battles that took place 35 years ago. The voice for this role is provided by the voice actress Sayaka Kinoshita. Kinoshita expressed being honored to voice a character from a series she herself had followed in her childhood.
