The official Studio NUT has released the second key visual for the second season of the anime «Youjo Senki II». The image shows an oversized Tanya Degurechaff swinging a baton like a conductor, flanked by the two Empire leaders Zettour and Rudersdorf. The new season starts on July 8, 2026, on TOKYO MX and other channels. The platforms ABEMA and dAnime Store will offer an advance simulcast.
Both theme songs have already been confirmed: The opener «Why? RED induction» is once again by MYTH & ROID, who were also responsible for the first season and the film. The ending theme will be sung by Tanya Degurechaff herself (voiced by Yuki Aoi) with the song «Weiter! Weiter!», whose sound production was handled by Masayuki Nakano (THE SPELLBOUND/BOOM BOOM SATELLITES).
A special extra is the mini-anime «Youjo Senki 2», which will air after each episode on AT-X and will subsequently be released on Wednesdays at midnight on the YouTube channel KADOKAWA Anime Channel. The short stories revolve around the newly formed Salamander Combat Group – with recruits suffering from a lack of training, as well as Tanya having to deal with the challenges of the approaching winter.
