The latest series by Hiroki Ihara, "Youkai Buster Murakami," known for "Koisuru One Piece" and "Mamore! Shugomaru," made its debut in today's issue 29 of Weekly Shonen Jump.

Set in the Reiwa era, "Youkai Buster Murakami" tells a humorous battle story in which mythical creatures awaken after centuries of captivity. High school exorcist Benii wants to seal these Youkai again but, due to his shyness, needs the help of his friend Murakami. Together, they face a Kappa in the river. While Benii is fearful, Murakami boldly engages in a verbal duel with the Kappa. To celebrate the series' launch, a promotional video was also released.

In the same issue, Rin Matsui's "Dear Anemone" comes to an end. In the next issue of Weekly Shonen Jump, released on June 24, the new series "Exorcist Kiyoshi" by Shoichi Usui will be introduced.
