The novel "Yowai MAX Reijou nanoni, Ratsuwan Konyakusha-sama no Kake ni Notte Shimatta" by Oda Hiro is getting an anime adaptation. First details about the cast, a key visual, and an announcement video have been released.

The story follows the protagonist Pia Rockwell, who wakes up as a minor character in an otome game. She knows the fate of her character, who at the end of the story loses her engagement and gets exiled from the country. To avoid this future, she decides to propose the annulment of the engagement herself. However, this decision leads to unexpected reactions from her fiancé Rufus Stan.

Established voice actors have been cast for the main characters. The role of Pia will be played by Itou Miku, while Aiba Ryouta will voice Rufus. Both voice actors had previously portrayed these characters in a voiced comic adaptation.

The late author Oda Hiro left behind seven volumes of the original novel. An illustrated version by Tsubasa.v and a comic adaptation by Murata Aji complement the project.

Various reactions were published to announce the production. In addition to a historical statement from the author, the involved illustrators and voice actors commented on the project. The official channels of the production simultaneously launched a marketing campaign with signed posters from the involved voice actors.
