The novel series "Yūsha Pātī ni Kawaii Ko ga Ita node, Kokuhaku shite mita" (English: I Told the Cute Girl in the Hero Party) by Riri Mizuki will receive an animated adaptation in the year 2026. This was announced together with the release of a first teaser.

The plot of the story follows Yōki, a demon who originally was a human and was reborn into another world. Although he actually has the task of defeating the heroes, he falls in love at first sight with Cecilia, the healer of the hero party. This unexpected development forms the starting point for a romantic comedy in a fantasy setting.

The teaser was first presented to an international audience at AnimeNYC 2025 as part of a Crunchyroll panel. The video also features the voices of the main characters. Kōhei Amasaki voices the role of Yōki, while Kana Hanazawa lends her voice to the character of Cecilia.
