The anime adaptation of Yugo Aosaki's novel series "Undead Girl Murder Farce," set to debut in July on Fuji TV's +Ultra block, has introduced a new cast member. Yumiri Hanamori will voice Vera.

According to the official website, Vera is a spirited 14-year-old from a werewolf village. She is described as strong-willed yet somewhat clumsy, and her quickness to defend her friends adds a layer of complexity to her character. Hanamori's singing talent promises to bring Vera the vibrancy needed for such a role.

A wide range of voice actors will contribute to this project, ensuring a diverse and engaging auditory experience for viewers. The series features the voices of Tomoyo Kurosawa, Taku Yashiro, Makoto Koichi, Sayumi Suzushiro, Shinichiro Miki, Masaki Aizawa, Mamoru Miyano, Hiro Shimono, Wataru Yokojima, Tomokazu Sugita, Reina Kondo, Itaru Yamamoto, Sōma Saitō, and Maaya Uchida.

The story is set in the late 19th century and revolves around a bizarre murder case. After a vampire's wife is killed, a detective known as the "Cage User" is called in to solve the mystery. However, the detective is not what he seems: he carries more than just a birdcage with a curtain and shares an eerie familiarity with monsters.
