"Yuusha Party O Oidasareta Kiyou Binbou"-TV anime for the fantasy light-Novel unveiled

The popular light novel series "Yuusha Party o Oidasareta Kiyou Binbou" (English: "The Jack-of-All-Trades Expelled from the Hero’s Party") by Miyuki Togami is receiving an anime adaptation. A first teaser visual, a special promo video, and details about the cast have been released.

Protagonist Orn, a swordsman, is expelled from his hero party after being disparaged as a "jack-of-all-trades without specialization" ("Kiyou Binbou"). While searching for a new place in the world, he discovers his true potential as a versatile adventurer.

The teaser visual features Orn alongside key characters Sophia, a young mage, and Selma, a high-level reinforcement mage. The promo trailer shows Orn battling a mysterious black dragon—a hint of epic action scenes to come.

Voice cast:

- Takuya Otsuka (The Rising of the Shield Hero) as Orn.

- Hinata Tachibana (The Duke of Death and His Maid) as Sophia, a new member of the powerful Nighteye clan.

- Saori Oonishi (My Dress-Up Darling) as Selma, Sophia’s older sister and leader of an S-rank party.

Details about the director and animation studio are still pending, but the source material is supported by Kisaragi Yuri (illustrations) and Yonezou (manga adaptation).

Serialized since 2022 on Shōsetsuka ni Narō and published by Kodansha, the story blends classic fantasy elements with themes of self-discovery and societal exclusion.
