"Zatsu Tabi-That’s Journey": Anime adaptation with first information

The manga series Zatsu Tabi – That’s Journey by Kenta Ishizaka will receive a TV anime adaptation starting April 7, 2024. The series, published in the magazine Dengeki Maoh (KADOKAWA), follows aspiring manga artist Chika Suzugamori on an unconventional journey after her drafts are repeatedly rejected. Inspired by social surveys, she decides to leave her travel destinations up to chance—a mix of self-discovery and humorous encounters.

A new key visual and a second trailer show Chika and other characters in typically chaotic travel scenarios. The animation features vibrant colors and dynamic landscape depictions.

In addition to previously announced voice actors, Yū Kobayashi has been confirmed as Chika’s strict editor Yoshimoto. The series’ narrator is Hitoshi Kubota.

The ending theme "bookmarks," performed by singer Harucha, will be released on streaming platforms on April 15. The cover artwork, featuring Chika surrounded by travel gear, has already been unveiled.
