The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses anime season two confirmed

The first season of "The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses," the anime adaptation of the manga by Kouji Seo, has come to an end. In the final episode, the production team announced the continuation of the series with a second season, set to release next year.



The anime, which premiered on April 7, is available worldwide via the streaming service Crunchyroll. The series garnered attention for its character dynamics and unique blend of narrative elements.

The creative execution of the first season was led by director Satoshi Kuwabara, with Tezuka Productions handling the animation. Keiichirō Ōchi oversaw the series scripts, ensuring a coherent storyline and fast-paced progression.

In terms of visual aesthetics, character designer Masatsune Noguchi shaped the series' look, while the music composed by Shu Kanematsu and Miki Sakurai added depth to the overall atmosphere. The opening theme "Unmei Kyōdōtai!" (Common Destiny) by NeRiAme and the ending theme "Dramatic" by Miki Satō provided the acoustic backdrop for each episode.

The plot of the original manga revolves around Hayato, who becomes the owner of a café after his grandmother's passing. This café is home to five women who identify as his grandmother's family. Hayato's experiences running the café and his interactions with these women form the core of the story.
