Second season confirmed for “The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten” anime

For the TV anime series "The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten," a second season has been greenlit, and teaser images as well as an announcement video for the upcoming season have been released. The series focuses on the life and budding romance between Fujimiya Shu, a high school freshman who lives alone and leads a somewhat careless lifestyle, and his neighbor Shiina Mahiru, the most beautiful girl in school, referred to as the "angel." The roles of Fujimiya Shu and Shiina Mahiru are played by Sakata Taito and Ishimi Maina, respectively. The first season of the anime aired earlier this year.





The newly released teaser image, illustrated by the original artist Hanekoto, shows Mahiru waiting in a park, hinting at the beginning of the story. Additional comments were provided by Saeki, the author of the original novels, and Hanekoto. Saeki expressed his excitement for the second season and hinted at the development of a closer relationship between the two characters.

The announcement was made at the anime's first major event, "The Angel Next Door Makes Even the Event Miserable," held today, October 8.
