Second season of “My Happy Marriage” will air from January 2025, new characters and teaser visuals released

The second season of the TV anime "My Happy Marriage" will begin airing in January 2025. Along with the announcement, a teaser image and promotional video were released, introducing new characters and their respective voice actors.

The first season follows Miyo, a girl who grows up without self-confidence due to her strained relationship with her stepfamily. However, her kindness and gentle nature begin to touch the heart of Kiyoka, a quiet and disciplined elite officer. Together, they face their personal challenges and slowly grow closer. In the second season, the mysterious "Usuhaba blood" flowing through Miyo's veins takes center stage, putting their bond to a severe test.

The teaser image draws from the illustrations in the original novel, and the trailer introduces three new characters. Ryotaro Okiayu voices Masayoshi Kudou, the former head of the Kudou family and Kiyoka's father, while Kikuko Inoue takes on the role of Kiyoka's mother, Fuyu Kudou. Yuuya Uchida plays Nao Amatsuki, the founder of "Inou Shinkyou," a group plotting a societal upheaval that has its sights set on Miyo.
