Sharon Alexander is a Canadian actress primarily known for her extensive work in voice-over for English adaptations of anime series and animated productions. Her career in the entertainment industry began in her childhood in Edmonton, Alberta, where she appeared in a television commercial at the age of nine, which led to further involvement in local radio plays and children's television programs. She later pursued acting in Vancouver, British Columbia, while also earning a degree in Broadcast Journalism.
Alexander's voice acting career features a wide range of roles in anime dubs produced in Canada. One of her earlier and most significant recurring roles was as the voice of AndrAIa in the groundbreaking CGI series ReBoot, a role she played from 1997 to 2001. In the early 2000s, she was active in dubbing numerous popular series. She voiced the character Karly Miller, the youngest of the quintuplets, in the English adaptation of the Japanese anime Go! Go! Itsutsugo Land, which was titled Let's Go Quintuplets!. She also lent her voice to the character Jilltail, a member of the Chaos Choir, in the series Elemental Gelade. Other notable credits from this period include Erica Simmons in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED and its sequel Gundam SEED Destiny, a young Tsubaki in Inuyasha, various Pokémon voices, Ribitta and Roll in Megaman NT Warrior, and Arcee in Transformers: Energon. She also provided the voice for Marina in the animated series Silverwing.
Beyond anime, Alexander's voice work extends to other animated franchises. In the mid-2010s, she voiced the character Sour Sweet in the My Little Pony: Equestria Girls series of specials.
