Lidia Costanzo is an Italian actress and voice artist, recognized for her extensive work in dubbing anime series during the 1980s and 1990s. Her career in entertainment began in the second half of the 1960s as a television actress, appearing in various dramas and films. She transitioned into voice acting in 1969, providing the voice for the titular character in the puppet program Io sono Patitù un Pirimpillo.

Costanzo is particularly noted for her versatile vocal range, which allowed her to portray a wide array of characters, from mature women to high-pitched, whimsical roles. She became a prominent figure in the dubbing of anime for Italian broadcaster Fininvest, where she not only voiced characters but also frequently served as a dubbing director and dialogue writer. One of her most celebrated roles is the villainous Milady in the series Anime Sanjushi, known in Italian as D'Artagnan e i moschettieri del re, a part for which she also directed the Italian dubbing. Another significant role was that of Posi, the alien kitten, in L'incantevole Creamy.

Her extensive contributions to the world of anime dubbing include a multitude of roles. Among them are Gunum in Huckleberry Finn Monogatari and Bea in Don-Don Domel to Ron. She was particularly prolific in the anthology series World Fairy Tale Series, lending her voice to multiple characters across its run, including the Good Fairy, the Queen of Hearts, the Evil Queen, the Wicked Witch of the West, and a generic wicked witch. Beyond her on-screen voice roles, Costanzo's work behind the scenes was substantial. She directed the Italian dubbing for numerous series, including Daddy Long-Legs, Flower Witch Mary Bell, Nadia: The Secret of Blue Water, and The Twins at St. Clare's, and also contributed scripts for Sailor Moon R. Her multifaceted career solidifies her status as a key figure in the history of Italian anime localization.
