Keiko Kamitani

Keiko Kamitani is a Japanese actress and voice actor born on February 13, 1971, in Neyagawa City, Osaka Prefecture. She is also known professionally by the stage name Keiko Kamitani. Her career began in the early 1990s, with her initial foray into performance taking place during her student years when she participated in stage productions with the theatrical troupe Gekidan Shinkansen. Before joining her agency J Production in 2007, she was previously affiliated with Ricomotion Osaka and Uncle.
Kamitani is most recognized for her voice work in video games and original video animations produced by the game company SNK. Her defining and representative role is that of the character Rimururu in the Samurai Spirits series of fighting games. She provided the voice for Rimururu in several installments of the franchise, including the 1997 3D fighting game Samurai Spirits, Samurai Spirits 2: Asura Zanmaden, and The Awakening of the Crimson Blade. Her portrayal of the character extended beyond the games to the 1999 OVA Samurai Spirits 2: Asura Zanmaden and the 2002 OVA Nakoruru: The Gift She Gave Me ~Journey to the Village of Kinau~. Beyond the Samurai Spirits series, her other notable video game voice role is Ob in The King of Fighters '98.
Her work on the Samurai Spirits series led to a recurring collaboration with SNK, which would occasionally invite her to perform character image songs at their special events. She also co-hosted the now-defunct radio program Neo Chupi alongside Harumi Ikoma, the voice actor for Nakoruru.
