Akio Takahashi is a Japanese male voice actor from Hiroshima Prefecture who has worked extensively in anime, video games, and drama CDs. He is also known by his former name, written with the same pronunciation but different kanji, and has worked as a freelancer. His career is marked by roles in visual novel adaptations and classic anime series, where he has garnered a dedicated following among fans of those titles.

Takahashi's anime roles include Toru Yasushi in Green Green, the character Yama-Arashi or Porcupine in the 1999 television adaptation of Hunter x Hunter, and an operator in Macross 7.
