Born on December 21, 1944, in Rio de Janeiro, he began his professional life in radio, working for many years at Rádio MEC FM before entering the world of dubbing in the early 1970s at the renowned Herbert Richers studio.
Flores's work in animation was extensive, contributing to the Brazilian Portuguese versions of numerous international series and films. His distinctive voice was frequently cast for characters with authority, dignity, or villainy. Among his notable roles in anime and animation are the villainous Rei Negro, also known as Andróide BK-1, in the OVA Casshan: Robot Hunter Casshern, and the character Jetro in the religious series In The Beginning - The Bible Stories. He also voiced characters in popular series such as Piedmon, Shogungekomon, and Vegiemon in Digimon Adventure, the Insect Emperor Daku in Shinzo, and Grimlock and Perceptor in Transformers.
