Belinda Bizic

Description
Belinda Bizic is an American actor recognized for her work in English-language dubs of Japanese anime series and films during the 1980s and 1990s. Her career is closely associated with the early days of anime localization in the United States, particularly with production companies like AnimEigo, for which she provided voices for numerous titles. Her body of work consists primarily of voice roles for original video animations and feature films from that era.

Bizic's voice acting portfolio includes several notable roles in classic anime. She is credited as the English voice of Sahari in the 1992 science fantasy OVA Genesis Surviver Gaiarth. In the series Advancer Tina, she provided the voice for the character Vanessa Groone. Another of her credited roles is Yayoi, also known as Soul Laker, in the 1996 series Battle Team Lakers EX. Her film work also includes voicing Hiroko in the English version of the 1994 film Arrest Warrant: The Movie and Mishima Sayoko in the 1993 adaptation of My Goddess.

Bizic was part of a recurring pool of voice actors based in North Carolina who worked on English adaptations for companies like AnimEigo. Her credits show frequent collaborations with other voice actors from that community, including Steve Rassin, Eric Paisley, and Ralph Brownewell. These collaborations were particularly concentrated in the many adaptations of the Urusei Yatsura film series, in which she consistently voiced the character of Ataru's Mother across multiple installments, as well as providing additional voices. Her work stands as a representation of the English dubbing industry during a formative period for anime in the West.
