Minami Kurisaka

Minami Kurisaka is a Japanese voice actress from Chiba Prefecture, born on October 15th. She is affiliated with the talent agency Kenyu Office. Her path to voice acting included studies at Nihon Kogakuin College and the Kenyu Office-affiliated training school, Talkback.

Kurisaka began her professional career in the early 2020s, initially voicing minor characters in a variety of anime series. Her early roles included appearances in Black Clover, Rent-A-Girlfriend, and Birdie Wing. In 2021, she voiced the character Michiru in a notable short film titled Shichigahama de Mitsuketa. This twenty-minute anime was produced by the Shichigahama town government to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the 2011 earthquake and tsunami, and to tell the story of the town's reconstruction.

Her career progressed to include starring roles. In 2023, she was cast as Pipi Barlier in the anime series I'm in Love with the Villainess and as Fuka Sasaki in The Dreaming Boy Is a Realist. The following year, she was announced in the starring role of Riese for the 2024 anime The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases. A special skill noted for Kurisaka is shigin, a traditional form of Japanese poetry recital.
