Kaoru Sugita is a Japanese actress and voice actress known for her work in film and television, with a career spanning from the 1970s to the 2010s. She was born on November 27, 1964. One of her earliest and most prominent voice acting roles was providing the Japanese voice for the protagonist Clara in the 1979 Sanrio stop-motion animated film Nutcracker Fantasy, a fantasy adaptation of the classic tale. In 1981, she appeared in the television drama Donbē Monogatari, playing the role of Chibimaru.
While her voice acting credit in Nutcracker Fantasy is a notable entry in her filmography, Sugita's career has primarily been focused on live-action roles. Her extensive list of acting credits includes appearances in numerous Japanese television dramas and films from the 1980s onward.
