Shinya Sumi is a Japanese voice actor and singer affiliated with the talent agency MC Kikaku. He was born on April 2, 1987, in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. His hobbies include following the stock market and watching foreign dramas and movies.
Sumi is best known for his role as Satan, the Avatar of Wrath, in the popular otome game and anime series Obey Me!. This character is the fourth-born of the seven demon brothers and is defined by his composed demeanor, love of knowledge, and deep-seated rage. Sumi's performance as Satan has been central to the franchise, extending beyond voice acting to include musical performances. He has performed several character songs for Satan, including a solo titled Read My Heart and a duet with Lucifer's voice actor called Passion.
