Ivan Buckley is a pseudonym used by American actor John Snyder for much of his voice acting work in English dubs of anime productions. A graduate of Boston University's School of Fine and Applied Arts, Snyder began his on-screen acting career in the late 1970s, appearing in films such as The Warriors and Crocodile Dundee, and in television series including Star Trek: The Next Generation and Miami Vice. His transition into voice acting, often credited under the name Ivan Buckley and other pseudonyms, began in the late 1980s and became a significant part of his career.

As Ivan Buckley, his voice work spans numerous anime series and films, primarily for studios like Animaze and Bang Zoom! Entertainment. He has voiced the character Gakushu (also credited as Gakushuu) across multiple installments of the Ikki Tousen franchise. This includes the first season, Ikki Tousen, and later series such as Ikki Tousen: Great Guardians and Ikki Tousen: Xtreme Xecutor. He also contributed additional voices to the series Gungrave.

Throughout his voice acting career under the Ivan Buckley name, Snyder has been a recurring presence in English dubs produced in Los Angeles during the 1990s and 2000s. He voiced Bob in the English dub of Cowboy Bebop: The Movie and had a role in the English version of the acclaimed series Monster.
