Saho Aono is a Japanese voice actress and singer born on October 19, 1997, in Hyogo Prefecture. Her career in the performing arts began at a young age, starting with dance lessons at five years old. She later attended the Avex Artist Academy to further her training in singing and dancing after winning a special prize at the Kiratto Entertainment Challenge Contest in 2007. Prior to her voice acting debut, Aono built a career as a stage actress, appearing in numerous musical productions. This path included a significant milestone in 2012 when she performed at the Apollo Theater in New York. She also launched a music career, signing with the Avex Trax label and releasing her debut EP, Once in a Lifetime, in 2015.

Aono's most recognized voice role to date is Jennifer Sumire Sol in the 2021 anime series Waccha PriMagi!. As the voice of Jennifer, the reigning champion and idol of the main protagonist, she performed the character's songs at live events. Her debut live performance as Jennifer at the PriPara & Kiratto Pri☆Chan & Watchapuri Maji! Winter Live 2022 was met with significant acclaim from fans for her powerful singing voice.

While her anime roles are currently limited, Aono's primary career focus remains in musical theatre. She has continued to appear in major productions, honing her skills as a performer. In 2025, she is set to star as Eleanor in the musical With the Sound of That Bell - THE BELL 2025, marking her first lead role in a musical in approximately seven years.
