Linsay Rousseau is an American actor, voice-over artist, and performance capture artist based in Los Angeles. She is widely recognized for her work as the voice of Elita-1 in the Netflix animated series Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy, a role for which she received critical acclaim.

Rousseau's path to voice acting was shaped by a diverse range of experiences. She spent several decades performing on stage, with training at prestigious institutions including Steppenwolf, the Berkeley Repertory School of Theatre, The Groundlings, and The Second City. Prior to her acting career, she served as a combat photographer and public affairs sergeant for the U.S. Army's 101st Airborne Division during the Iraq War. Following her military service, she earned a master's degree in journalism from the University of California, Berkeley, and worked as an investigative reporter and associate producer for the PBS series Frontline. Her master's thesis documentary, Rape in the Fields, received numerous awards, including an Alfred I. duPont-Columbia Award, and was nominated for an Emmy.

While her role as Elita-1 in the Transformers: War for Cybertron Trilogy stands as a signature performance, Rousseau has built an extensive portfolio in video games and anime dubbing. Her video game credits are numerous and include major titles such as the female player character, known as The Captain, in WWE 2K24, Lockpick in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Katrina Pishchtek in Deathloop, and various characters in God of War Ragnarök, Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and Starfield. In the realm of anime, her credits include the role of Princess Rubina in the Viz Media dub of Sailor Moon SuperS, Tsumi in Genshin Impact, Oleana in Pokémon Masters, and Zoya in Path to Nowhere. She has also contributed her voice to English dubs of live-action productions, such as the series Cable Girls and The Bonfire of Destiny.

Rousseau's portrayal of Elita-1 earned her the award for Best Female Voice-Over in an Animated Series at the 2021 One Voice Awards. Beyond performance, she is actively involved in the voice acting community. She serves as the media affairs director for the National Association of Voice Actors (NAVA) and is the vice president of QueerVox, an organization advocating for LGBTQIA+ representation in voice acting. She also holds memberships in the Television Academy and BAFTA. Her background in journalism and her military service, combined with extensive training in stage combat and martial arts, contribute to a versatile skill set that informs her work in front of the microphone and in the performance capture studio.
