Moeko Kanisawa

Moeko Kanisawa is a Japanese voice actress and idol, born on October 25, 1999, in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. She is affiliated with Yoyogi Animation Academy. Her career began in the idol industry; in 2019, she passed the final audition for the idol group ≠ME (Not Equal Me), produced by Rino Sashihara, and officially debuted as a member of the group in February of that year. In 2020, she was announced as the leader of ≠ME.

Kanisawa's voice acting debut came in 2021 when she was cast as Kyōka Tamaki, a main character in the multimedia project Shine Post. This role marked her first major voice acting credit and she also became a member of TINGS, the in-story idol group from Shine Post. As part of this role, she performed on several character song releases, including the single Wonder Starter / Palette Girls and the Shine Post Character Song Collection album. Following her debut, she secured additional anime roles, such as a minor role in the 2022 television anime The Maid I Hired Recently Is Mysterious.

Beyond anime, Kanisawa has expanded her performance career to include live-action roles. She appeared in the 2021 film Ren'ai Kodo and the 2022 television drama Moshi Koi. She has also taken on stage acting, starring as the lead character Yumeko Jabami in a stage play adaptation of Kakegurui scheduled for 2025. Her work within the Shine Post project has led to recurring collaborations with fellow cast members, including Seiyū Suzuki Sayumi, Natsuyoshi Yūko, Nagase Rito, and Nakagawa Rika, who formed TINGS with her, as well as others involved in the wider project like Takahashi Chiyo and Takahashi Kurumi.
