In 1994, he relocated to Buenos Aires, Argentina, and after a brief hiatus, his dubbing career resumed and significantly expanded starting in 2003. In addition to his work as an actor, Sagastume has also taken on roles as a director of dubbing, particularly for video game localizations.

He is known for his role as Daisuke Jigen in the Latin American Spanish dubs of Lupin the Third Part 6 and the crossover film Lupin III vs. Cat's Eye.
