Yoshiko Sengen

Description
Yoshiko Sengen is a Japanese voice actor and actress known for her work in anime films produced by HS Pictures Studio. She provided the voice for the protagonist Yaizael in the 2021 anime film The Laws of the Universe: The Age of Elohim. Her involvement in this project also extended to music, as she performed the character's theme song, Yaizael no Theme, for the film's soundtrack.

Sengen began her entertainment career under her birth name, Fumika Shimizu, working primarily as a live-action actress. Her first major role came in 2011 when she was cast as Yuki Jojima in the popular tokusatsu television series Kamen Rider Fourze, a part she played until 2012. She continued to build her live-action filmography throughout the 2010s, with appearances in the NHK television drama series Mare, the live-action film adaptation of Tokyo Ghoul where she portrayed Touka Kirishima, and the HK/Hentai Kamen films. She also provided the voice for the character Nonoko Kishii in the 2017 anime special The Dragon Dentist.

In 2017, Shimizu announced her retirement from the entertainment industry and subsequently joined the organization Happy Science. She signed with its subsidiary agency, ARI Productions, and adopted the legal stage name Yoshiko Sengen. Following this transition, her professional activities became closely associated with Happy Science's media productions. Her voice acting roles since then have been in films produced by the organization's anime studio. Prior to voicing Yaizael, she voiced the character Zamuza in the 2018 anime film The Laws of the Universe: The Age of Reimei. Sengen has also taken on lead roles in several live-action films produced by Happy Science, including The Real Exorcist and Twiceborn.
