Mio Hoshitani is a Japanese voice actress born on January 2nd in Yamanashi Prefecture. She is affiliated with the talent agency Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society. Her interest in animation was sparked during elementary school after watching the anime Shaman King, and she decided to pursue a career as a voice actress from middle school onwards. She began her professional activities in 2016.
Hoshitani's early career included minor and supporting roles in series such as Uta no Prince-sama: Legend Star, Girlish Number, and怪盗Joker. Her first recurring role was as Urara in the LALALA LALA-CHAN series from 2016 to 2017. A significant turning point in her career came in 2018 when she was chosen to succeed Ayaka Imamura as the voice of Mayano Top Gun in the popular multimedia franchise Uma Musume Pretty Derby.
