Elio Zamuto is an Italian actor and voice actor born in Syracuse, Italy, on May 1, 1941. He began his career in the mid-1960s, building a prolific career in Italian cinema and television, particularly during the 1970s, where he often played characters such as seducers, gangsters, or police officers. In addition to his on-screen work, Zamuto has an extensive career in dubbing, lending his voice to numerous foreign productions for the Italian market. He is perhaps best known as the official Italian dubbing voice of Tom Selleck in the television series Magnum, P.I..

Within the realm of anime and animated series, Zamuto has contributed his voice to a wide variety of characters, often in dubbing director and voice actor roles. He served as the dubbing director for Italian adaptations of series such as Hello Kitty, Manga Aesop Monogatari, and the first dubbing of the Lupin III film The Mystery of Mamo. His work as a voice actor in this field spans several decades. He is the voice of Professor Han in the 2021 Italian dub of the anime series Getter Robo Arc. He also provided the voice for the Narrator in The Brave Frog, as well as for Dott. Procton in a 2006 new dubbing of the series UFO Robo Grendizer. His other notable anime roles include various characters in Candy Candy, Professor Shiba in Kotetsu Jeeg, Tianem in a second edition of Mobile Suit Gundam, the Narrator in Ninpu Kamui Gaiden, Ultra Magnus in the first Italian edition of The Transformers: The Movie, and Consigliere Koran in the Americanized version of Voltron.
