Akihiko Shimizu is a Japanese actor and voice actor born on January 30, 1962, in Chiba Prefecture. He has been active in the entertainment industry since 1987 and is affiliated with the theatre company Bungakuza. His career encompasses a wide range of voice work in both Japanese animation and dubbing for foreign films and television series.

In anime, Shimizu has taken on various supporting roles. He is known for voicing Randle Upton in the series Tiger & Bunny 2. His other credits include roles in Detective Conan as Yoshiyuki Yabuuchi, Jackie Chan Adventures as Valmont, The Tatami Galaxy as Temporal Lobe, and Teen Titans as Brother Blood. He also contributed to projects such as Mobile Suit Gundam UC and the special Ghiblies. His work extends to theatrical animated films, where he voiced Bubbles the Yellow Tang in both Finding Nemo and its sequel Finding Dory, as well as characters in Hoodwinked and Meet the Robinsons.
