Moeka Kishimoto is the former stage name of the Japanese voice actress Moe Kahara. Born on December 18, 2000, in Osaka Prefecture, she adopted the professional name Moe Kahara on July 1, 2021, under which she currently performs. Her interest in voice acting was sparked during childhood by magical girl anime such as Sailor Moon and Pretty Cure. To pursue this career, she enrolled in the high school division of the Osaka School of Music during her first year of high school, where she studied acting, beginning with musical theatre. She passed an audition in her second year of high school and joined the talent agency Yurin Pro, making her professional debut in 2019 with a role in a browser game. After leaving Yurin Pro in March 2022, she worked as a freelancer for three months before affiliating with the agency Holy Peak in July 2022.

Under the name Moeka Kishimoto, her first major anime role was Tomoe Inui in the 2021 series How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom. She also voiced the character Shino Sakura in the game and web anime Sakura Kakumei ~Hana Saku Otome-tachi~. Following her name change, she continued to gain prominence with leading roles. She was cast as Akari in The Executioner and Her Way of Life in 2021 and as Fuuko Izumo in the 2023 series Undead Unluck. Her other notable anime roles include Hasu in In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki, Shion Tanizaki in Nanare Hananare, and Mikoto Amano in Murder Mystery of the Dead. She has also been involved in the franchise That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, voicing the character Momiji.

In addition to anime, Kahara has built an extensive list of credits in video games. Her game roles include characters in major titles such as Monster Strike, the role of Victoria in Path to Nowhere, and Pandora Fusaichi in Uma Musume Pretty Derby. Her work often extends to theme song performances, having sung opening and ending themes for series like In the Heart of Kunoichi Tsubaki and Nanare Hananare as part of the unit PoMPoMs. She has also served as a personality on radio programs related to her anime roles, including the official radio show for How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom.
