Makoto is a Japanese voice actor and singer, also known by the stage name Makoto (麻言). Information about their career is primarily associated with two specific anime projects released around 2019 and 2023.

Makoto provided the voice for the character Aoi Hoshino in the 2019 anime film Despair of the Monster. Aoi Hoshino is a fourteen-year-old alien girl whose family uses a special medicine to disguise themselves as humans, a disguise that begins to fail for her. In addition to this voice acting role, Makoto also performed the main theme song for the film, titled Hoshi no Owari.

In 2023, Makoto voiced the lead character Igaguri in the television anime series Ikimono-san. Igaguri is a young boy with a shaved head who, along with his dog companion, explores the daily lives of various living creatures. The series is based on the video game My Exercise and aired on the Super Animeism programming block.

Makoto is also known for being a member of the comedy duo Yoneda 2000, and it was in this capacity that they were cast for the role in Ikimono-san.
