Koharu Inoue, also credited simply as Inoue, is a Japanese manga artist known for creating the romantic comedy series The Duke of Death and His Maid. Inoue was born in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, and graduated from Nippon Designers School. Before their breakthrough work, Inoue received an honorable mention at the 78th Shogakukan New Comic Award in 2016 for a work titled Maou no Kai Hou.
Inoue is the sole writer and illustrator of The Duke of Death and His Maid, which was serialized on Shogakukan's Sunday Webry website from October 2017 to May 2022. The series was collected into sixteen tankobon volumes, with the first released in January 2018 and the final volume published in July 2022. The manga was licensed for English release by Seven Seas Entertainment.
The series received an anime television adaptation produced by J.C.Staff, with animation production by Shogakukan Music & Digital Entertainment.
