Jonas Lauenstein is a German actor and voice artist born in Berlin in 1987. He began his professional training in 2008 at the Europäisches Theaterinstitut Berlin ETI, completing his studies in 2011. Following his Ausbildung, Lauenstein was a permanent ensemble member at the Deutsch-Sorbisches Volkstheater in Bautzen from 2011 to 2014 and later performed with the Junges Staatstheater Berlin-Parkaue. His work in theater has been recognized with a Förderpreis (promotion award) at the 8. Sächsisches Theatertreffen in Leipzig in 2014.

In addition to his on-screen roles in German television series such as Gute Zeiten, schlechte Zeiten, Notruf Hafenkante, and SOKO Wismar, Lauenstein has built an extensive career as a synchronization or dubbing actor, lending his voice to numerous international productions. With over 210 documented voice roles, his work encompasses films, television series, and audio dramas.

Within the realm of anime and animation, Lauenstein provides the German voice for a variety of characters. He is the German voice of Ard Meteor in the anime series The Greatest Demon Lord is Reborn as a Typical Nobody. His other notable anime dubbing credits include roles in major productions such as Ryder in Die Eiskönigin 2 (Frozen II), Malyen Oretsev in Shadow & Bone, and Karis Nemik in Star Wars: Andor. He has also voiced characters in JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse, Natsume Yujin-cho: The Movie, Blue Lock: Episode Nagi, and Golden Kamuy. Beyond anime, his extensive voice work includes dubbing for actors in a wide array of international films and series, such as The Flash, Gladiator II, Alien: Romulus, and Road House.
